Allie & Shane
Destination Wedding in Marrakech
Destination wedding photography is all about telling stories that blend culture, tradition, and unforgettable experiences—and Allie & Shane’s four-day celebration in Marrakech was the perfect example.
Allie, of Moroccan heritage but raised in Canada, returned to Morocco with her family after decades to celebrate her wedding. For them, it was not only a wedding but a homecoming, filled with meaning and emotion. Shane, Canadian-American, embraced the richness of Moroccan culture, making the experience even more special.
The celebrations began with a traditional Moroccan wedding at Palais Namaskar. Vibrant colors, music, and rituals gave life to a night that honored Allie’s roots and brought family and friends into the heart of Moroccan tradition.
On day two, adventure took center stage with a desert safari in Agafay. Guests explored the landscape in jeeps before gathering for a barbecue under the stars, with music and dancing that turned the desert into a festival of joy.
Day three was dedicated to their Jewish wedding at Beldi Country Club, a place of timeless charm surrounded by gardens and palm trees. Before the ceremony, I captured an intimate couple session at Royal Mansour, one of Marrakech’s most breathtaking hotels. The evening continued with dancing, laughter, and celebration late into the night.
Be Allie & Shane’s photographer was more than documenting a celebration—it was about capturing the essence of a destination wedding in Morocco, where cultural traditions and modern love came together in one unforgettable story.
